Limo & Transport for Oaks Day
Ladies Day — the girls' group booking of the carnival, from the first glass to the pickup after the last.
Thursday of Cup Week — Thursday 5 November 2026
Oaks Day — Ladies Day — is the day the carnival is built around a group of friends. It is less corporate than the Tuesday, more social, and the transport is part of the occasion rather than just a way to get there. A Hummer or stretch limousine picks the group up from the first house, the champagne is already on ice, and the day starts in the car. After the last race the same car is waiting, so nobody is negotiating a rideshare in the Flemington crush at 6pm.
The day starts in the car
For an Oaks Day group the pre-race hour matters as much as the track. We do a single pickup or a short loop of two or three houses, with glassware, ice and a sound system on board, so the group arrives at Flemington already in the day rather than frazzled from parking.
The pink Hummer is the most-requested car for Oaks Day for obvious reasons; the white Hummer and the stretch limousine are close behind for groups that want the space without the colour.
Getting in and getting out
We set down at the closest gate to your lawn or marquee and agree the pickup point before the day. The Thursday crowd is large but not Cup-Day large, so the exit is more manageable — but a guaranteed car still beats a forty-minute rank in heels.
Making a night of it
Plenty of Oaks Day groups keep going after the track — dinner in the city, drinks in South Yarra or Prahran. We can hold the car and run the group on rather than ending the booking at Flemington.

Oaks Day Transport FAQs
What car do most Oaks Day groups book?
The pink Hummer, then the white Hummer and the stretch limousine. All of them take a group of up to fourteen to eighteen with BYO, glassware and ice on board so the day starts in the car.
Can you pick us up from a few different houses?
Yes — a short loop of two or three pickups around the same area is standard for Oaks Day. Send the addresses and the time you need to be at Flemington and the chauffeur plans the run.
Can the car take us out afterwards?
Yes. A lot of Ladies Day groups go on to dinner or drinks after the races. We'll hold the car and run you on rather than finishing at the track.
