Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions govern all bookings made with Mayfair Limousines. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before confirming your hire.
1. Bookings & Confirmation
All bookings are subject to vehicle availability and are not confirmed until you receive a written confirmation from Mayfair Limousines. A deposit is required to secure your booking. The booking is only considered confirmed upon receipt of the deposit. Mayfair Limousines reserves the right to decline any booking at our discretion.
2. Deposits & Payment
A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your vehicle and date. The remaining balance is due prior to or on the day of your event, as agreed at the time of booking. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enquiry. Failure to pay the balance by the agreed date may result in cancellation of your booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing. Deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation, any amounts paid beyond the deposit may be credited toward a future booking at Mayfair Limousines' discretion, depending on the notice provided. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking date. Mayfair Limousines is not liable for any consequential losses arising from a cancellation.
4. Overtime & Additional Charges
Bookings are made for a minimum hire period as agreed at the time of booking. Any time used beyond the agreed hire period will be charged at the applicable hourly rate. The client is responsible for any additional charges incurred, including but not limited to additional time, tolls, and parking where applicable.
5. Alcohol & Conduct
Clients are welcome to bring their own alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages (BYO). Glassware is the responsibility of the client. Mayfair Limousines reserves the right to refuse service or terminate a hire without refund if any passenger behaves in a manner that is unsafe, offensive, or disruptive to the driver or vehicle. Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited. No smoking or vaping inside any vehicle at any time.
6. Damage to Vehicles
The client is responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by themselves or their guests during the hire period. This includes but is not limited to damage to upholstery, fittings, or the vehicle exterior. A cleaning fee will be charged in the event of excessive mess including spillages or soiling. Mayfair Limousines will invoice the client for the full cost of repair or cleaning as assessed.
7. Punctuality & No-Shows
Our chauffeurs will arrive at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time. Mayfair Limousines will not be held liable for delays caused by traffic, road closures, or other circumstances beyond our control. If the client or their guests are not present at the pickup location within a reasonable waiting time, the booking may be marked as a no-show and no refund will be provided.
8. Vehicle Substitution
In the unlikely event that the booked vehicle is unavailable due to mechanical failure or unforeseen circumstances, Mayfair Limousines reserves the right to substitute a vehicle of equal or greater value. Where no suitable substitution is available, a full refund will be provided.
9. Passenger Capacity
All vehicles must not exceed their maximum stated passenger capacity at any time. This is a legal requirement and will be strictly enforced. Mayfair Limousines will not transport more passengers than the vehicle is licensed to carry.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Mayfair Limousines' liability is limited to the amount paid for the hire. We are not liable for any indirect, special, or consequential loss or damage. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. Force Majeure
Mayfair Limousines is not liable for failure to perform any obligation where such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or major accidents.
12. Changes to Terms
Mayfair Limousines reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The terms applicable to your booking are those in effect at the time of confirmation.
13. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
