Limo Hire for Large Groups in Melbourne

One booking, one chauffeur team, and every car pulling up at the same moment.

The biggest single stretch vehicle in Melbourne still runs out of seats somewhere in the low twenties — and a Year 12 cohort, a hens party with every cousin invited, or a 21st with the whole footy team will not fit in one car. So we do what a coach company cannot: put the group into as many of our own stretch Hummers and limousines as it takes — two cars or ten — running as a convoy, so everyone gets the limo experience and the arrival happens all at once. Every car is owned by Mayfair and driven by our own chauffeurs, and it is organised as a single booking.

How many people can we take?

Every car in the fleet can run in the same convoy, which puts more than 100 people on the road together. The stretch Hummers carry the most: the Black Hummer 6x6 seats 18, and the Pink Hummer and White Hummer seat 15 each. Behind them, the BMW X5M stretch takes 14, the Mercedes Sprinter 13, the Signature stretch limousine and the Beetle limousine 12 each, the Rolls Royce Tribute 9, the G-Wagon 7 and the 1962 Cadillac 6.

As a rough guide: 20 to 33 people — two Hummers. Up to 48 — all three Hummers. 50 to 80 — the Hummers plus the BMW, Sprinter and stretch limousines. Above that, the whole fleet — up to 121 seats in one convoy. Tell us the number and the date and we put together the combination that fits.

Why a convoy beats one big bus

A bus moves people; a convoy of stretch Hummers and limousines is the event itself. Everyone gets lounge seating, LED lighting and a proper sound system rather than rows of seats, and the photos at the venue have a line of limousines behind the group instead of a coach. Each car can do its own pickups, so a group spread over several suburbs is not dragged around one long route — each car collects its part of the group and the convoy meets at an agreed point before arriving together.

Year 12 formals with a big cohort

Big formal groups are the most common large booking we run. Each car takes a set of students from home, with photo stops for the parents, and the convoy pulls up at the venue together so the whole group walks the red carpet at once. Every chauffeur enforces the no-alcohol rule for under-18s, and the cars return for the after-party or the trip home. See our school formal transport page for how the night runs.

Weddings, big hens nights, 21sts and corporate events

For a hens night that has grown past 15, the Pink Hummer leads with a second Hummer behind it, and BYO is welcome in every car for passengers 18 and over. Milestone birthdays work the same way — the convoy collects from home, heads into the city and drops everyone back at the end. At a big wedding, the Rolls Royce or the Cadillac carries the couple while the Hummers and limousines bring the bridal party and family — a whole wedding moved in one convoy, timed to the ceremony. Corporate groups use the same approach for a conference transfer, a client day or an end-of-year party.

Booking a convoy

Large bookings need every car free on the same date, so the earlier the better — especially for Saturdays in formal season and through spring racing. Use the booking form with your total number of passengers and the date, or call 0470 555 667, and we will confirm which combination of cars fits your group.

Common Questions

Can you take 25 people in limos in Melbourne?

Yes — two stretch Hummers. The Black Hummer 6x6 seats 18 and the White or Pink Hummer seats 15, so 25 people travel in two cars that arrive together on one booking.

What is the most people you can take at once?

Up to 121 people with the whole fleet running together. The three stretch Hummers alone take 48 (18 + 15 + 15); adding the BMW X5M, Sprinter and stretch limousines takes it past 100.

Do the cars arrive at the same time?

Yes. Each car can collect its own passengers, then the convoy meets at an agreed point and arrives at the venue together, so the whole group steps out at once.

Is it one booking or several?

One booking with one point of contact. We plan the pickups, timing and drivers for every car in the convoy.

Is BYO allowed in every car?

Yes, for passengers 18 and over, in every vehicle. For school formals and other under-18 groups the cars are alcohol-free, enforced by the chauffeurs.
