Private Chauffeured Winery Tours

Mornington Peninsula Winery Tours

Red Hill cellar doors, a long lunch and maybe the hot springs — with a chauffeur so nobody has to drive.

The Mornington Peninsula pairs cool-climate wine with sea views, and the best way to see it is in your own car with your own driver. We collect your group from Melbourne, run down Peninsula Link to the cellar doors you choose around Red Hill, Main Ridge and Merricks, and bring everyone home at the end of the day.

Where the day can go

Red Hill and Main Ridge are the heart of the Peninsula's wine country, with well-known cellar doors such as Montalto, Port Phillip Estate, T'Gallant, Ten Minutes by Tractor and Foxeys Hangout. Point Leo Estate adds a sculpture park and ocean views, and Crittenden Estate is close to Dromana. Many groups finish with a soak at Peninsula Hot Springs or a walk on the beach at Point Leo.

Tastings for groups are usually booked ahead, so send us your list and we will plan the order around lunch.

Choosing the car

The Mercedes Sprinter is the comfortable choice for up to thirteen with room for wine, the Mercedes G-Wagon suits a smaller group, and the stretch Hummers turn a hens day or birthday into a party, with BYO for passengers 18 and over.

From Frankston or from the city

From the south-east and bayside suburbs the Peninsula is a short run; from the city allow about an hour and a quarter to Red Hill. See our Frankston page if you are starting nearby, and Yarra Valley wine tours if you are deciding between the two regions.

The Vehicles

Common Questions

How long does it take to get to the Mornington Peninsula wineries?

From central Melbourne, about an hour and a quarter to Red Hill; less from the south-east and bayside suburbs.

Can we add Peninsula Hot Springs to the tour?

Yes — many groups finish the day there. Book your bathing session and we plan the drive around it.

Is the Peninsula or the Yarra Valley better for a wine tour?

The Peninsula is known for pinot noir, chardonnay and sea views; the Yarra Valley is closer to the city with sparkling and cool-climate reds. Both work beautifully as a private day.

How many people can come on a Peninsula tour?

Up to eighteen in one vehicle, and two cars can travel together for bigger groups.
