Private Chauffeured Wine Tours from Melbourne

Yarra Valley Wine Tours

Your own car, your own chauffeur, your choice of cellar doors — collected from your door in Melbourne.

Most Yarra Valley wine tours put you on a shared bus with a fixed list of wineries. A private tour works differently: we collect your group from home or your hotel, you choose the cellar doors, lunch is where you want it, and the day runs at your pace. The valley is about an hour from the city, and our chauffeurs drive it every week.

Planning the day

Most groups visit three or four cellar doors with a long lunch in the middle. Coldstream and Yarra Glen are the closest part of the valley, home to well-known names such as Domaine Chandon, Yering Station and Oakridge; Dixons Creek has De Bortoli, and Healesville has Giant Steps and the town's cafés. Many wineries ask groups to book tastings ahead, so tell us your list and we will plan the order and the timing.

The Yarra Valley Chocolaterie in Yarra Glen is an easy stop on the way home, and a lookout over the vines makes a good group photo.

Which car for your group

Couples and small groups usually take the Mercedes G-Wagon (up to four passengers) or the Rolls Royce Tribute (nine). The Mercedes Sprinter seats thirteen in comfort with room for the cases you buy. For a hens day or a birthday that wants to feel like a party, the stretch Hummers take fifteen to eighteen with BYO for the over-18s.

Hens days, birthdays and corporate days

A wine tour is one of the most popular hens days in Melbourne — the Pink Hummer plus a long lunch is hard to beat. Corporate groups book the valley for team days and client hospitality, and couples book it for anniversaries. The chauffeur handles every stop, so nobody needs to stay sober to drive.

Booking your tour

Send us the date, the number of guests and any wineries you have in mind through the booking form, or call 0470 555 667. Weekends in spring, summer and autumn book out first. Prefer the coast? See Mornington Peninsula winery tours.
