Greek Wedding Car Hire Melbourne

An arrival worth the crowd waiting outside the church.

At a Greek Orthodox wedding the guests usually wait outside the church for the bride, so the arrival happens in front of everyone. It is one of the most photographed moments of the day, and it has to be on time. We run Greek weddings across Melbourne in cars we own, with chauffeurs who understand how the day flows from the church to the reception.

The car you choose is the car that arrives — every vehicle in our fleet belongs to Mayfair.

The bride's arrival at the church

The bride traditionally arrives with her father, and the crowd outside the church turns to watch. We plan the run so the car pulls up exactly when the priest and the groom are ready, positioned for the photographer at the church steps. The Rolls Royce Tribute and the 1962 Cadillac are the two most requested cars for this moment.

Room for a big bridal party

Greek bridal parties are often large, with the koumbaro or koumbara playing a central role. The White Hummer seats 15 and the Black Hummer 6x6 seats 18, so the groomsmen and bridesmaids can travel together from the house to the church and on to the photos.

From the church to a big reception

Receptions of several hundred guests are common, often at one of Melbourne's large function centres. After the ceremony the chauffeur takes the couple to the photo location and then on to the reception, timed for the grand entrance. For parents, grandparents and family, stretch limousines can follow as one convoy — see large-group limo hire.

Common Questions

Can the bride's car arrive right at the church steps?

Yes. We check the church and its approach beforehand and plan the arrival so the car pulls up where the photographer and guests can see it.

Will the car wait during the church service?

Yes — waiting during the ceremony is part of the booking, and the car is ready for the couple when they come out.

Can the koumbaro and the whole bridal party travel together?

Yes. The Black Hummer 6x6 seats 18 and the White Hummer 15, so most bridal parties fit in one car.

Can you transport the parents and grandparents too?

Yes — a second car or a convoy of limousines for the family, all arriving together.
